I have been fairly active all my life and have enjoyed a variety of sports. For a number of years just bounced from gym to gym with no guidance or really knowing what to do until I stumbled upon Crossfit.

I have been fairly active all my life and have enjoyed a variety of sports. For a number of years just bounced from gym to gym with no guidance or really knowing what to do until I stumbled upon Crossfit.

I have been working within the security/corrections industry for over ten years and as such a high level of fitness, strength and endurance is required and has helped me in operational situations and specialist selections.

Favourite thing about Crossfit Perth:

The community is one great aspect about CFP and the mateship formed. Coaching is second to none and the technical knowledge led by Jas including injury management is sensational.

With Stephen’s witty nature and joker like personality – he will be sure to keep you entertained with your training and be there to cheer you on until the end of every workout.

My background in fitness includes a wide variety of sports from touch rugby to mixed netball, but mainly 15 years of basketball which took me on a month tour of America playing against high school teams and being champions in the under 18’s state league.

I was introduced to CrossFit by my fiancé who was looking for a new physical challenge – I was all against starting but now I enjoy every day I’m there.

What crossfit is to me:

Crossfit is more than a gym, it’s where I go to catch up with mates, to better myself physically and mentally, where I go to get my frustration out after work and normally the first place I get to see my wife after work, basically my second home.

Hero WODs just for the mental challenge and the meaning behind them.

Double unders, pull ups, handstand pushups
