3. You are not locked into set days and times. Memberships cover you being able to train at any day or time.
4. We chart your progress through our Personal Progress Chart. You will regularly repeat milestone movements or workouts to gauge your progress and motivate you. What ever your goals are, this method is proven to give you results.
5. We offer dual option programming, so you can choose based on your goals, you can focus on either:
HEAVY DUTY PROGRAM
Gives you the choice of Strength, power and muscle gain.
We primarily focus here on the lower rep range and compound movements.
Deadlift, Squat, press
These movements are often super set with gymnastics or isolated strength movements.
Snatch, clean, jerk
Along with all of the variants accessories to develop your primary movements
Olympic accessories, Push-press, jerk,
HIGH SPEED PROGRAM
Offers a second option in each class for those not wanting to do the heavy or olympic lifting, gymnastics or skills and focus on cardio, stamina and weight loss or simply to switch things up.
Typically most classes include the dual option, followed by a finisher workout. The beauty of CF is that we offer variety in the program. Some days are longer, shorter, heavier, lighter and a combination of each.

What is CrossFit
CrossFit is defined as that which optimises fitness (constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high intensity). CrossFit begins with a belief in fitness. The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness. CrossFit is also the community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. In fact, the communal aspect of CrossFit is a key component of why it’s so effective.

What to look for in a CrossFit Gym
PROGRAMMING – Above all your looking to get fitter, the program is the core to your success.
EQUIPMENT & SPACE – are your toolbox, rowers, assault bikes and ropes for climbing are a good sign of a well equipt facility.
COACHES – are the key to helping you move safely and efficiently, are they approachable and knowlegable. Check their profile.
COMMUNITY – Are the members friendly, inclusive and keen to help you. A good sign is if the members stick around after class and enjoy each other’s company. Who needs a training partner when you have a gym full of people who you look forward to catching up with each day. CrossFit is more than fitness, it’s getting the day off to an awesome start or finishing the day on a high.
COST – Is it affordable and above all value for money, cheap more often than not means you get minimal returns, saving $20 a month may be costing you a lot more in the fitness you could have had with a good program, coaching and facility.
Looking for your CrossFit Affiliate is no different to looking for a good car – you want something which is reliable with a good track record and reputation. Have a look on YouTube at a range of CrossFit classes and get an idea of what it should be like. Not all CrossFit affiliates are the same. If you have had a bad experience with CrossFit, don’t be put off and miss out on the benefits. Shop around and ask questions.

Key things to look for when investing your time, effort and money.
The Facility (is there enough space? Are you crammed in like sardines and more importantly, is its safe throwing weights around?)
The Experience (how long have they been operating?)
The Coaches (what is the depth of their qualifications and experience? Do they have an intern process and train their coaches?)
The Commitment (are they a full-time dedicated gym constantly developing or is it just second job?)
The Schedule (are there plenty of sessions? Do they chop and change? Is there open gym?)
Calendar of events (what else is happening in addition to the day to day training?)
The Equipment (is there plenty of quality gear to allow proper CrossFit workouts and is it well maintained? Look for climbing ropes, assault bikes, rowers and dead balls)
The Price (it may initially seem cheap, but you may be getting what you pay for. Saving a couple of dollars a month might ultimately result on losing quality of service and fitness gains)
The Community (are the coaches and athletes friendly and inclusive, focusing on everyone not just the elite?)
The Program (Does it include a broad range of energy systems, movement patterns and scaling options?) CFP includes concurrent workouts with the option to do strength, Olympic lifting, endurance workouts, then a group metabolic conditioning workout.
Above all do you have a good feeling about the place and people?
The intent (is the focus on helping you or marketing? A good CrossFit box focuses all their efforts on making you better, as CrossFit was prescribed by its founder Greg Glassman. We leave the spamming, infomercials, coupons and rubbish to the con men.
